Multiparametric System for Measuring Physicochemical Variables Associated to Water Quality Based on the Arduino Platform

Traditionally, the estimation of water quality is realized through laboratory analysis which time-consuming and requires specialized installations, equipment, personnel. Nowadays, it possible to make real-time monitoring electrochemical sensors, microcontrollers, central processing units, for detecting pollutants. This work proposes a system based on Arduino platform continuous measuring parameters associated with as oxidation-reduction potential, pH, total dissolved solids, turbidity, temperature, electrical conductivity, oxygen. A critical criterion sensor selection was its cost availability, resulting in sensors from different companies. They were integrated without much complexity, thanks selected platform. In addition, proposal made signal conditioning circuit potential electrode. stage filtering added pH turbidity commercial circuits improve their performance. Remote access data done mini-PC WIFI connectivity MySQL database. All calibrated reference solutions or against other meters. Through proposed system, time series having sampling period 20 s all recorded more than week-long exhibiting circadian patterns same sample, Pearson correlation carried on.
